meet Our up-and-coming Directors

Kiss and Tale strives to support inclusion in all levels of production, in front of and behind the camera. We are major supporters of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender and Media.

One of Anna’s passions and core missions in her work is to champion material that normalizes female sexuality in cinema. After years of school and research, she believes a cornerstone for women to live healthier lives, overall, is to support them in finding their “O’s” — metaphorically and physically.

Which is why much of our work not only originates from the female gaze but also educates and enlightens audiences on what stimulates women to go for their “O’s”.

We believe sexual satisfaction for women is more cerebral than it is for men, and our hope is to create a library of films that reflect this thesis.

In addition to our on screen efforts, we believe in championing female voices behind the camera, whether through writing or directing.

The women listed below are those we are actively helping in building their careers as directors and/or future directors, either through features or short films.

Our goal is to provide as many opportunities as possible for women to exercise their voice through cinema — for if we do that, we will be helping to create a more vibrant tapestry of color for all.
